Backing up files
There are many different ways to backup files. It is also important to understand where your files are located.
Hard Drive Backup
Purchase an external hard drive or large thumb drive to transfer your files
Google's Backup and Sync
We recommend using Google's Backup and Sync
This product is very similar to the old Google Drive.
The Technology Department will be offering before school and after school sessions to assist with backing up your files. While it is your responsibility to ensure your files are backed up, we will assist you with this process.

Identify commonly used programs/software
Depending on our department/specialty, we may have special software installed on our computers. Our new MacBooks are brand new and only have pre installed software on them. This means we will need to identify if we have any special programs installed. To do this click on Finder , then click on Applications
Now you'll need to look at for software that you use often. An example of this might be ActiveInspire, or Adobe Reader
